Physics
Students study physics within the distinctive ‘Advancing Physics’ context-based approach. They learn about fundamental physical concepts and how to apply these in everyday and technological settings. The course demonstrates the usefulness of the subject and illustrates the impact that discoveries in physics have had on the way people live. There is a constant drive towards new ways of thinking with a clear focus on curiosity-driven Physics.
Teaching of practical skills is integrated with the theoretical topics and assessed both through written papers and, for A-Level only (not AS), the Practical Endorsement.
