This philosophy course covers some of the core areas of philosophy. You will look at;

• Epistemology which is the study of knowledge. Within this section you explore what we mean by knowledge and where do we get this knowledge from such as the use of our senses.
• Moral philosophy which looks at ethical theories. In this section we explore different ethical theories such as Utilitarianism, virtue ethics and Meta ethics. Knowing the different ethical theories and how they are applied.
• Metaphysics of God which looks at the various arguments for and against the existence of God. This includes looking at the problem of evil and religious language.
• Metaphysics of mind which looks at what is the mind and how it interacts with the body. In this section we look at Descartes and dualism, physicalist views and functionalists.
