Drama & Theatre

Drama and Theatre A Level offers you the choice of taking the Performer or Designer route. So whether you are an actor or a keen lighting / set / costume / sound designer, there’s a place for you on the course.

You will all learn key skills in:
Acting
Design
Directing

Then put use those skills for 2 practical units.
The end exam will ask you to review a piece of live theatre and then answer questions about what you would do in the role of an Actor, Designer and Director.
The Play texts we study are Equus by Peter Shaffer, Woyzeck by Georg Buchner and a third text to be determined once we meet the cohort.
