Safeguarding at Kesgrave High School
At Kesgrave High School, we take safeguarding children, very seriously. All students in our care are protected by robust Safeguarding Procedures that are in place to ensure that students are kept safe and happy within the school environment and are able to learn. Safer-recruitment practices are in place and staff, governors and volunteers working in our school are subject to safeguarding security checks and regularly undertake Safeguarding Training. Adults know how to report concerns and students know who they can talk to if they are worried about themselves or their peers.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Prevent Lead in our school is ROZ COE. The Alternates DSL’s are: TERESA RUSH, LIZ NEWMAN, KERRY DRING, SARAH WHEATLEY, CHRIS OZANNE, KERRY LEES and LIN CAREY.
SUE WHITE is our Safeguarding Governor.
