Year 7 took part in 2 workshops led by Kaff and Katie from the University of Suffolk and DanceEast’s degree programme. The workshops comprised of an energetic warm up allowing students to work on their technical skills followed by learning a short motif in a contemporary style. Students were then placed into groups and asked to work choreographically to develop ideas they had been taught.

All pupils had a wonderful experience and learnt some new moves to incorporate into their own choreography. Kaff and Katie were amazed by the student’s talent and said they had underestimated how good students would be at this age – clearly they have been trained well!
