TEACHER OF BUSINESS STUDIES (MPS)

(Full or Part-time)

The Business & Economics Department at Kesgrave High School has a vacancy for an enthusiastic teacher of Business from September 2020. All members of the team contribute to the teaching of the OCR GCSE and Edexcel A Level Business courses, while the department also offers Economics A Level (Edexcel) and Accounting.

The successful candidate should be able to teach Business across Years 10-13 with an option to support the other subjects offered in the department, and should also be prepared to support and develop the awareness of the subjects and the extra-curricular activities for the department. Full-time applicants who can also offer a second subject, for example Geography, are encouraged to apply alongside any part-time applicants who can teach Business and/or Economics/Accounting.

Kesgrave High School is a very popular and oversubscribed 11-18 school. Kesgrave is a Teaching School and joint Research School partner. We are part of East Anglian Schools Trust (EAST) alongside Farlingaye and Bungay High Schools. We embrace new ways of working which has recently involved all staff completing action research. The school already has a diverse, highly professional and lively staff and benefits from an innovative approach to timetabling and excellent conditions of service for those who work here.

TEACHER OF SCIENCE (MPS)

Full time

We are seeking to appoint from September 2020 an enthusiastic and dynamic Science teacher to join a highly successful team. The Faculty achieves superb results at all Key Stages and A Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Environmental Science are enthusiastically taken up by students. An ability to offer a specialism in Chemistry or Physics would be an advantage.
