Year 7 Parents’ Evening, PSHE workshop and more

February 1, 2023 7:26 pm

We were delighted to be able to share our OFSTED report with all members of our community last week. Do look at our report and the comments that inspectors made here.

We are looking forward to meeting our Year 7 parents and carers this week, albeit virtually, for their first subject parents’ evening with us at Kesgrave High School. Our Year 7 have made a tremendous start with us and one term in are thriving from the opportunities and variety that High School life brings. Teachers are eager to feedback how well they are doing and the great impression that they have made.

This week Year 7 and 8 students will experience a PHSE workshop from a visiting theatre group. The workshop will use music to explore tolerance, diversity and acceptance of others, an important part of our PSHE curriculum.

Well done to all Year 11. 10 and 9 students who competed in the Intermediate Maths Challenge this week. This problem-solving competition taxes students logic and mathematical agility, rather than just learnt context. Good luck to them all.

As the Spring modular examinations come to a close for Year 10-13, well done to all those who have completed external examinations as part of the BTEC courses over the last few weeks. We know just how hard they have worked in preparation for these.
