The changing of the guard

May 23, 2021 5:41 pm

This week we say farewell to our wonderful Year 11 and 13 students, as they leave us on Friday. These two year groups have faced the adversity of these last two years with determination and calm. They should feel proud of the way that they maintained a sense of balance as they have worked in school and at home. They will take their qualifications, but also their approach into the next phase of their lives. We know that they have learnt more than they could ever have imagined from last two years. We wish them a fond farewell, they will always be members of Kesgrave High School.

This week sees the changing of the guard as twelve Year 10 students are interviewed for the roles of Head Girl and Boy. Our ambassadors this year have not be able to conduct the same range of duties as normal, but Luke Bayford, Chloe Waters, Max Johns, Ethan Banna, Jessica Dorsett and Scarlett Perry have all taken the lead in school life and have represented their year group with humility and responsibility. We look forward to talking to our next generation of student senior leader this week. We know it will be a difficult task!
