Thank you to all our students, parents and carers for accommodating students’ presence for COVID testing last week. We are delighted that in offering testing to the whole cohort, all students are returning to a full week of lessons this week, rather than a staggered start. We are looking forward to getting all students back in the classroom, engaged in face-to-face learning. Having seen students over the end of last week, we can’t believe how much some of them have grown!

Second and third COVID tests will continue this week, following a repeat of the schedule used over the first phase. Students will come out of their lessons for these tests, returning as soon as possible, to manage minimal disruption. For awareness this schedule is:

• Monday 8 March: Year 13, 12 and 11
• Tuesday 9 March: Year 10 and 9
• Wednesday 10 March: Year 8 and 7
• Thursday 11 March: Year 13, 12 and 11
• Friday 12 March: Year 10 and 9
• Monday 15 March: Year 8 and 7

On Tuesday evening this week we look forward to talking to Year 9 parents and carers, for their Parents’ Evening. The scheduling of this coincides with students considering their Year 10 and 11 Options. Year 9 students have now received the Options Booklet and associated subject videos to ensure that they make informed choices.
