It hardly seems possible that we are getting towards the end of the first half-term. I suspect that the return to school will have been tiring for students and staff, after a different pattern of working and as we have all coped with a changes to school procedures.

Over the course of the next couple of weeks we will be sharing our first reports of the year with different year groups. Last week Year 7 and 11 parents and carers received their update on how their son or daughter has been progressing since our return. In the week ahead Year 9, 12 and 13 will also receive a report.

For those of you who follow us on Twitter you will have noticed that we have started to share more of our day-to-day activity on there, allowing parents, carers and the wider community to see activities that have made us smile and feel proud. Please excuse the traffic noise while a speak at the start, I confess I considered editing this out, but given that the intention of this video is to show daily life at school, I decided the double decker passing on the road was part of that! I hope that you will enjoy the eclectic mix of background music but could not miss an opportunity to share the range of music created by our students.

Later on this week I will share a discussion between Miss Boon, Head of Year 7, September 2020 and some Year 7 students. In this, students will reflect on their first month at High School and what they already feel about the school.
