Last night, it was great to see the annual community-led Fireworks display once more. The event was sold out early on and a lovely chance for the local community to get together once more, in a safer outside event.

Sadly, due to the recent guidance from Suffolk County Council, this week’s scheduled Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy event has been rescheduled for after Christmas. We did not wish to conduct this event, or others diarised for the next few weeks, to a virtual offer, given the importance of parental contact on site. Please note the following changes of dates:

Year 7 literacy and numeracy: was Thursday 11 November 2021, now Wednesday 12 Jan 2022.

Sixth Form BEST Event: was Tuesday 9 November 2021, now April 2022 (date to be confirmed).

Year 8 Information Evening: was 25 November 2021, now Wednesday 8 December 2021.

Dance Jam: now Thursday 9 December

This week, Year 8 and 10 students (and parents and carers) will receive their first report of the school year. This will give students an overview of their progress and effort this term, across all their subjects. We are really pleased with how both year groups are working and know that there will be much to be proud of here.
