Term feels fully under way and it has been lovely to connect with some parents and carers already this term.

187 students joined their parents and carers for a celebration of reaching the astonishing 1000+ achievement points last academic year. This is more students than ever before. To reach this threshold requires dedication over the full course of the year, day in, day out. From our 3Bs to special mentions, these all accumulate to this impressive total. Students got to leave lessons early on Friday afternoon, enjoy a cookie and a collective moment, before heading into the weekend. Well done to them all.

Year 10 have started their Key Stage 4 chapter with great determination and purpose. They have stepped into this stage with maturity and calm and we have high hopes for what they are going to go on and achieve. We met with parents and carers in the first of a number of information events to share our recipe for success and what they can do to help over the next two years.

It is important to us that we connect face to face with parents and carers at key points in their child’s educational journey. Events ahead in the next month:
