As we return after the half-term break it does feel as though Autumn has finally blown in! Students have returned positively after their break and are positive about the weeks ahead.

On the horizon is the school production, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. With the production starting on Wednesday 7 December, we are a little way off, but we know how the time flies. The rehearsals are coming along and it looks to be an exciting production; with students from Year 7 to Year 13 in cast, orchestra and behind the scenes, our production really does bring the school together. This year we are also seeking to offer a matinee performance for some students from our local feeder schools and community groups. This will be a great opportunity for younger students to experience what we have to offer at High School.

Also ahead, on a more academic note, our Year 11 students are busy preparing for their Mock Examinations. All students have been provided with revision resources (which combine generic revision strategies and skills, with subject specific guidance and activities). Finally, good luck this week to all Sixth Form students undertaking formal external examinations. We know that they have been working hard in preparation.
