Last half-term saw students and staff make a great start to the academic year. We were delighted to see so many students and their parents and carers for the Open Evenings for Year 7 and Year 12 entrants in September 2026. The deadline for your Year 7 admission was in half-term, but remember that our Sixth Form applications stay open through this term. Deadlines for applicants are:

All those interested in joining us from other schools are encouraged to come to our Taster Day in December to experience some lessons and the Sixth Form environment. Post 16 Taster Day – Friday 5th December 2025. Book your place by completing this form: Post-16 Taster Day.

Whilst the nights are now drawing in, we want all students to continue to engage in extra-curricular activities. There really is something for everyone. We know just how much students benefit from these experiences, to build social connections and to develop wider skills and interests.

This term our Sixth Form students have their Parents’ Evening on Thursday 20 November, please make sure that you have booked your appointments online. This stage is vital to focus students’ minds, whether in Year 13 on what they hope to achieve and what comes after Sixth Form, or for those in Year 12, how they have settled into this new phase of their education.
