Paid employment
As per our student guide, students are asked to work no more than 10 hours a week in paid employment.
Experience tells us that students who take on additional hours of employment struggle to fulfil their A level course demands and can adversely affect their results.
Local employers are also aware of a young person's status as a student in Further Education and will aim to balance the work offered with the student's commitment to education.
