Around 70 year 4’s and 5’s from 7 Primary Schools came to Kesgrave High School over 2 days for a full days training on becoming a Play Activity Leader. The pupils were all very enthusiastic and took part in a number of sessions, learning how to: plan, organise and deliver activity sessions to younger pupils. Throughout the day they were engaged in new games and tasks, and worked extremely well each other, showing great confidence and co-operation. By the end of the course all pupils ran an activity session for each other, demonstrating much natural talent and potential in becoming effective leaders. They will now put there training to the test within their own schools as Play Activity Leaders, running games/activity sessions during lunchtimes for their peers.
