Kesgrave High School hosted it’s third successful Pyramid Athletics Championships. More than 120 pupils from years 3 to 6, from 8 of our feeder schools participated and competed in a hugely exciting afternoon of events. All pupils got the chance to run, jump and throw to record distances and times to create and team score. The day was well supported and the year 10 GCSE PE pupils from Kesgrave officiated and helped out with the running of each event, (their efforts were invaluable and the smooth running of the event could not have happened without them, thank you). The afternoon culminated in the team relays, which saw many close finishes. All pupils who took part showed great determination and sportsmanship, and did themselves proud.
The overall winners were Cedarwood Bs, who beat Cedarwood A in a gripping final.
