Olympic Week!
What an amazing week we had at KHS! The week leading up to Olympic week we saw the KHS torch being carried around the school site just like they do in the real olympics. We then had a grand opening ceremony where we saw dance and music playing as we introduced the 5 houses. Then we had a week long festival of all things Olympic. Sports Afternoons, Olympic Performances, Paralympics and more. Enjoy looking at all the photos and films of what went on!

All about OUR Torch!
Our Technology department were approached to specially commission the KHS torch - ready for the relay before our Olympic Week. As for the Relay route - well, we wanted to go all around the school so watch the video below of Mr Simmons showing you the route
The torch was carried just over 130 miles by over 400 pupils. This works out on average:
26 miles a day
80 pupils a day
2 miles covered by each group of pupils!
