On Friday 25th Sept we had an Inter House Cake Sale competition to raise money for the fantastic work that the Macmillan Nurses do for cancer sufferers. The event took place at lunch time with each house in its own designated area around the school. It was excellent weather and the event was amazing!

Students were asked to bring cakes in for the event, and there was an abundance. The students really excelled themselves and there were cakes of all shapes and sizes, even one made by a year 12 student of Sir Edmund Hillary climbing and conquering Mount Everest!

With the money made from the office staff, the grand total is: £532.25!! Huge thanks have to go to the students who really embraced this charity event - it was a fantastic success and full credit to them.
