Anti-Bullying
We are very committed to celebrating Anti Bullying Week here at KHS - particularly regarding the world of Cyberbullying. Remember, no one should suffer this, so we are here to help and stamp out bullying.
Thanks to Mrs Wheatley and the Sixth Form Committee in their huge efforts in organising the charity event STARS IN THEIR EYES! Well done to the Pussy Cat Dolls and Kate Nash, you were all such good sports - stand by for the photos. Sadly all video evidence has been lost - batteries ran out!!!!

Road Closed for Open Evening
By arrangement with County Highways Department, we have ensured that access to the school entrance on Main Road will be possible on the evening of Thursday 15 October but only from the Martlesham/Woodbridge direction. Any traffic approaching from Ipswich will be diverted via Grange Farm.
I hope that inconvenience will be minimal, but would perhaps suggest that those living locally and able to do so could walk to the school on the evening.
I look forward to welcoming you to the school.

We need a cake to celebrate the amazing success of our interhouse cake sale last week to raise money for the Macmillan Nurses. We have been doing the 'world's biggest coffee morning' for many years now, but this year, we got the school's house system involved and what an impact that had!
We've raised an amazing £532.25. Well done to you all, this money for charity will go along way to helping others.

WEEK 1 This Week
Remember it's first full week 1. Numerous updates have happened all over the school and on the web. The front of the school has had a wonderful new face lift, doesn't it look impressive. It should be a lot cooler in those science rooms now, especially in the summer!
Make sure if you travel by bus you read the information document (see 'on the buses' tab to your right) especially if you travel from Nacton.
Computer wise, we've had big updates to our servers and our computers. We will now have a much better brand new 'HOME ACCESS' - this will be up and running very shortly. Watch this space.
Have a brilliant year and work hard.
